Ukrainian security forces trying to work without bloodshed - Head of the SBU Anti-Terrorist Center Vasyl Krutov


KYIV, April 16 /Ukrinform/. Ukrainian security forces are trying to perform their combat tasks during an anti-terrorist operation without bloodshed, including for the opponents.
Head of the SBU Anti-Terrorist Center Vasyl Krutov said this at a night briefing at the Kramatorsk airfield on Wednesday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"We are conducting point operations, clearly focused and the ones that are not intended to deprive health or life. Operations are aimed at stabilizing the situation," Krutov said, denying reports of victims during the release of the airfield.
Reporters flew to Kramatorsk by helicopters from Izium district, Kharkiv region, 40 kilometers from Sloviansk.
As reported, security forces conducted an anti-terrorist operation in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, releasing the airfield earlier seized by militants. Russian saboteurs fled as soon as Ukrainian helicopters with a special police unit landed. The army units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces entered Kramatorsk this morning as part of the anti-terrorist operation.
