Ukrainian army will receive modernized Multiple Launch Rocket Systems

State Concern "Ukroboronprom" completes the modernization of multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), "Grad" commissioned by Ukrainian military department.
In the nearest future the artillery and rocket forces  of the armed forces of Ukraine will receive MLRS "Grad" upgraded to "Bastion-1" and "Bastion-2" at the facilities of SE "Shepetovsky repair factory" .
Modernization significantly improves the tactical-technical characteristics of weapons: 
"Bastion-1" is equipped with navigation systems GLONASS / GPS that will allow the MLRS systems work good with  intelligence and  even hitting small targets.
The modified version of the BM-21 "Bastion" allowed to use the new ammunition thus firing range up to 40 km.
