Dneproavia launches flight Dnepropetrovsk-Vienna

On April 30 of this year airline Dnepravia opens a new route - Dnepropetrovsk-Vienna. Passengers will fly three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Departure from Dnepropetrovsk appointed to 6:50, and from Vienna - at 15:20. Flight time is 2 hours and 25 minutes. Flights will be operated on aircraft Embraer 145 in two-class configuration (economy and business class).

Atlasjet Airline starts operating from Kiev, Ukraine.

Representatives of Turkish Airlines Atlasjet Airlines announced that they have got the  certificate of an air operator  with the right to perform commercial passenger and freight new airline " Atlasjet Ukraine ." "The company aims to become world-famous Atlasjet airlines. We will develop Atlasjet Airlines primarily in countries close to Turkey , and later as an operator working in foreign areas. Year project implemented in the past year with the company " Zagrosjet " based in northern Iraq , "- said Ali Murat Ersoy , president Atlasjet Airlines. " Atlasjet Ukraine " will provide domestic and international scheduled flights , including those from Kiev , starting in May . According Ersoy , the company will work to increase the Ukrainian market . The airline will start its work on three planes and will add to its fleet of 5 to 10 units per year . The company will start flights from flights of no more than 3 hours.

Dynamo Kyiv refuse trip to Spartak Moscow

Ukranian side Dynamo Kiev have refused an invitation from Spartak Moscow to play a friendly to officially open their new stadium, the 'Otkritiye' (Open) Arena in July. "We have decided to go back on our agreement with Spartak because of the current political situation between Ukraine and Russia," the club said in a statement. "We do not think it is the right thing to do to travel to Moscow." Russia completed the annexation of Ukraine's Crimea region last month, sparking worldwide criticism. Spartak Moscow and Dynamo Kiev were the most successful clubs and also bitter rivals before the break-up of the Soviet Union and they were set to open the new 44,000-seat stadium. Dynamo Kyiv captain Oleg Gusiev swallowed his tongue after a horror collision with Dnipro keeper Boyko

A heart-stopping moment played out in the Ukrainian top flight on Sunday as Dnipro  hosted Dynamo Kiev. A Kiev attack came to nothing when a cross was plucked out the air by Dnipro keeper Denys Boyko, however the keeper wiped out Dynamo captain Oleg Gusiev when he claimed the ball. In a horrific accident, Boyko knocked out Gusiev with a high boot, and immediately  it became appeared that the unconscious Gusiev had swallowed his tongue. Players from both sides instinctively ran to Gusiev’s aid as the worst fears began to seem a reality, and the medics soon followed to take over. Thankfully after a few minutes Gusiev stood up before he was karted off the pitch on a stretcher .
