Olexander Gvozdik won the French judge Mehdi Amar's unanimous decision and won the  WBC championship belt in semi-heavyweight.

Due to talent and fighting qualities Gvozdik won most of the rounds and on the cards of all judges won his 15th victory: 116: 112, 118: 110 and 117: 111.
It should be noted that the "temporary" champion title will allow the Ukrainian to hold his next fight with the full world champion Adonis Stevenson.
