Ukraine launches largest self-propelled barge (photo)

    A 128-meter barge D-6000 was launched in Izmail. The barge was built for the Svitlovodsk river terminal. The construction of the barge was carried out by the NGO JV "Dunaysudoservis" together with "Dunaysudoremont". with reference to the CTS. After launching, the barge will continue its completion. Hatch covers are currently being installed on the ship. The new vessel was named Dnipro-AV-01. The barge is expected to be delivered to the customer this year. The tonnage of the barge in fresh water is 6000 tons, in sea water 7418 tons. This is the largest barge built in the history of independent Ukraine. It is planned to be used this season to transport corn along the Dnieper River.    

Ukrainian farms will export pumpkins to the EU
