Women's rights group FEMEN about EURO 2012
Members of a Ukrainian women’s rights group Femen went topless on a balcony in the center of Kiev on Tuesday to protest against the bizarre initiative to forbid local residents from appearing on their balconies while wearing underclothing during forthcoming European football championship (June/July 2012).
Kiev city authorities also asked from the national government to ban the use of apartment building balconies for drying laundry or for storage of personal property and make illegal any use of a privately-owned balcony within a half-kilometre of a game site.
