The Austrian company will produce skis in Vinnytsia
Head International GmbH will build a ski equipment manufacturing plant in Ukraine.
On this occasion, the President, Petro Poroshenko, met with executives of Head and former Special Representative of the British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, Johann Elieas.

During 2019-2020, plans to build the largest factory of production companies for winter sports (skiing, ski boots and ski rails).
The number of new jobs at the initial stage will be about 300, and from 2022, when the production is expanded, the estimated number of new jobs will reach 1,000 people expected by the company.
The cost of the project is 80 million euros.

It should be noted that the largest producer of skis in Ukraine is the Fischer-Mukachevo joint venture. The company produces 180 models of sports cross-country skiing and 130 models of mountain skis. In total, the Ukrainian factory produces 60% of the volume of Fischer brand products.
The factory produces not only Fischer brand, but also other brands, including Scott Usa, Stöckli, Tecno Pro, Hagan, Rossignol, Alpina, Splitkein, Tecno.
The enterprise in Mukachevo employs about 1.5 thousand people.
