Ukrainian Denis Berinchik vs Rosekie Cristobal fought for the WBO International title in lightweight
#Ukraine For the vacant WBO International Lightweight Title: 🇺🇦Denys Berinchyk (10-0, 7 KOs) defeated 🇵🇭 Rosekie Cristobal (15-3, 11 KOs) by 7th-round TKO at the Ice Palace "Terminal" city of Brovari. pic.twitter.com/Z8wUhb3ayW— WBO (@WorldBoxingOrg) 22 december 2018
The battle began at a good pace and Berinchik immediately tried to designate the work as the first number, shooting a jab and exploding with two or three strike combinations. Cristobal was noticeably superior to the Ukrainians in size and his blows looked very weighty.
Later Denys Berinchyk began to actively use its advantage in movement and technical equipment. His attacking actions were diverse and effective, and the Filipino in response only threw himself with sweeping hooks and even because of one of them fell on the floor of the ring.
In the third round, the Ukrainian boxer already sent Cristobal to a full knockdown, but failed to finish off the opponent in this three-minute game as well as the next.
The fifth segment of the battle was remembered by the low blows of the Filipino and the continued beating, although the Ukrainian slowed down a little so as not to squander all the powder too quickly. In fact, the fight took place with a big advantage of Berinchik and only the resilience of a guest from the Philippines allowed him to stay in the ring for so long.
In the seventh round, Denis decided to make a real squall for Cristobal and after several dozen strikes the referee finally intervened and stopped this utter rout.
