Archaeologists have found in the reserve "Ancient Kiev" about 2 kg of silver coins.

About 2 kg of silver coins in denominations of 1 ruble 50/20/10 cents was fount  in the basement of the demolished in the 70th years of XX century. buildings in the territory of the reserve "Ancient Kiev"



 Coins date from the period from 1817 to 1912.




The origin of the treasure is not well known, but archaeologists suggest that the coins hid in the years of the Ukrainian Revolution a bank employee who was once located in a neighboring building.
