The New Yorker published a short film about the war by Ukrainian director Nadia Parfan

Nadia Parfan was in the Middle East when Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine began. "In this personal film-essay, she documents her painful return home," reads the film's description.

The New Yorker published an international version of the film, where the author tells her own story with a voiceover in English. The Ukrainian-language version of the film can be watched in the Takflix online cinema until February 2 (only on the territory of Ukraine).
