Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) has strongly objected to what it says is Ukraine's attempts to encroach on Russian sovereign airspace after the latter warned of impending ballistic missile tests over the Black Sea region near Crimea later this week. "It is obvious that the Ukrainian side is pushing extremely provocative, politically motivated acts to beyond the bounds of reasonable engagement," Rosaviatsia said. "Global civil aviation is based on the principles of absolute priority of safety first, rather than political expediency."
