UKRAINE TOO STRONG FOR RUSSIA
Ukraine will play for ninth place at the U16 European Championship Men after overpowering Russia in the classification round.
Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk had 20 points to lead four Ukrainian players in double figures as the hosts dominated the game.

After Russia used an early 9-0 run to put Ukraine in a hole, the hosts responded with 13 straight.

Mykhailiuk then nailed a three-pointer with the last play of the first half to make it 36-27.
With the home crowd cheering them on Ukraine continued to edge clear, leading 63-49 thanks to back-to-back baskets from Igor Starodub at the start of the fourth quarter and 72-56 on Mykhailiuk's jump-shot with 5:47 to go.
Anton Musiyenko had 16 points and Vitaliy Zotov reached 10 for Ukraine.
