SBU found paintings stolen from museum Westfries in the Dutch city of Horn



In 2010 in Holland stolen 24 paintings 16-17 centuries. The cost of the entire collection, about 10 mln. Euros. 
"We are engaged in searching of these paintings about 4 months", - he said.
He said that special service interviewed "hundreds of people". According to the words of the SBU managed to find four paintings. Gritsak said that experts have confirmed the authenticity of one of them.
 

"According to the latest data of the pictures stored in the temporarily occupied territory, and some of them may be in the Russian Federation", - said Gritsak.
As you know, paintings that were stolen in 2005 from the Museum of Western Friesland in Horn (Netherlands), according to the management of the museum, in the hands of the Ukrainian armed forces.
There were talks on the return of paintings representative of the OUN-2 battalion Boris Humeniuk, who requested compensation for their return and could provide a canvas photo, but later suspended contacts with the Dutch.   
In February, the German media informed that the paintings were originally in Alchevsk president of football club "Steel" Vladimir Polubatka.
