to Eurostat, Ukraine ranked 6th in the ranking, exporting 11 million
liters of beer to the EU in 2017 (3% of the total).Major suppliers of beer to the EU:
Mexico (211 million liters - 52% of the market);
Serbia (48 million liters - 12%);
USA (39 million liters - 10%);
Belarus (23 million liters - 6%);
China (16 million L - 4%);
Ukraine (11 million liters - 3%).
Then Russia with (10 million l -3%), and Thailand (9 million l - 2%). The largest beer producer within the EU remains Germany, and the supplier is the Netherlands.
During the first half of 2017 Ukraine increased beer exports (by 75%) and beverages (by 25%).
