Ukrainian
freestyler Olympic champion in 2018, Alexander Abramenko won the
silver medal at the World Freestyle and Snowboarding Championships,
which accepts Utah (USA).
After the second place in qualifying, Abramenko reached the super final, where he finished second with a final result of 126.24.
Earlier, Ukrainian male freestylers never won a medal at the World Championships, and the best result of the entire freestyle team was Olga Volkova’s bronze medal at the 2011 World Cup, which also took place in Utah.
In the women's ski acrobatics at the 2019 World Cup, Ukrainian Olga Poluk in the final took 7th place. Gold from Alexander Romanovskaya from Belarus.
