In three months, Ukraine has received more than 35,000 tourists from the Persian Gulf

 

 From May this year to July, 35,193 tourists arrived in Ukraine from Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, UAE, Oman and Saudi Arabia.



More than 85% of all tourists from the Gulf region (29,809 people) are citizens of Saudi Arabia. This is 8 times more than in pre-crisis 2019.

The second country in terms of the number of tourists is the United Arab Emirates, 2,677 tourists in three months, and the third - Oman - 1,007 tourists.

The interest of the residents of the Arabian Peninsula in Ukraine is connected with the introduction of a visa-free regime, the opening of new direct flights and the "thaw" after a year of quarantine.

According to Visit Ukraine, one vacationer from the Persian Gulf countries spends an average of 2.5 thousand US dollars in 5-7 days in Ukraine.
