 all 15 AES power units were put into operation for the first time

 On Sunday, January 30, NNEGC Energoatom of Ukraine for the first time launched all 15 existing state power units.


    “On January 30, 2022, at 05:45, Unit №4 of the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant was connected to the power grid after the completion of the average planned and preventive repairs and reloading of nuclear fuel. The recruitment of power is underway, ”Energoatom reports.


NNEGC also clarified that the equipment of power units operates in the specified mode.

    "For the first time in the history of Ukraine's nuclear energy, NNEGC Energoatom operates all 15 power units simultaneously," the company added.

We will remind, earlier we reported that the new (fourth) hydraulic unit of the Dniester PSP was put into operation.
