Qatar Airways to launch Boeing 787 "dream liner" to Kiev (photo)

Qatar Airways will launch a long-range, new-generation Boeing 787-8, also known as a "dream liner", between Doha and Kiev.

As it became known, it will start flights to Ukraine from March 29, 2020, when the summer flight schedule will enter into force, and will operate daily flights of QR 295 / QR 296 instead of A320 and A330.

The feature of the Boeing 787-8 is the large portholes, which are dimmed by a button, large shelves for carry-on luggage, support for greater humidity and pressure that is close to ground pressure.

Qatar Airways operates its dream liners in 2-class layout for 254 seats. In the business class seats are arranged in the scheme 1 + 2 + 1, which gives each passenger free access to the aisle. The chairs are folded into a full horizontal bed, the length of which is about 2 meters.

 

According to Qatar Airways, all of its Boeing 787-8's are equipped with Oryx One Communications, which allows you to use mobile communication and connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi on-board.

The airline will be the first to attract a regular Boeing 787-8 on flights to Ukraine. In 2012, several test flights to Kiev from Warsaw to the Boeing 787-8 were made by the Polish airline LOT as part of this type of commercial launch.
