Lidl, a popular supermarket chain in Germany, is preparing to enter the Ukrainian market, writes the German edition of Lebensmittel Zeitung, citing internal documents of the Schwarz Group, which owns the chain. 
The company has already appointed Gerd Chrzanowski as the head of the head office of Lidl Ukraine, previously he headed the same network in Poland. 
Lidl is supposed to compete with ATB's network. 
Lidl is a German international supermarket chain. It has stores all over the world and operates in many countries of the European Union
