Kharkiv Doctors Offer Alternative to IVL Bubble CPAP (Video)
Professor of the Kharkiv Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education Volodymyr Korsunov suggested how to replace the artificial lung ventilation apparatus used in the treatment of coronavirus. For mild cases, COVID-19 has decided to use artificial lung ventilation using plastic bags using Bubble CPAP technology when the patient is wearing a bag over his head and breathing through a water lock. The technology is no longer new and has been actively used about 20 years ago. It was used in the late 1990s and early 2000s, when old Soviet IVL machines were not suitable for children aged one or two years, and Bubble CPAP had to be used.
