Ukraine and Ericsson will launch 5G
The digital transformation ministry and Ericsson have agreed on consulting support for fixed and mobile 4G (LTE-Advanced) and 5G.

Ericsson, together with Ministry experts, will study and apply in Ukraine the experience of other countries that are currently world leaders in the development of the telecommunications industry, namely the United States of America, South Korea and China. The Joint Working Group will work on technical expertise in the field of mobile and fixed Internet development and provide consultancy and information support to the Ministry on the evolution of mobile communications systems, frequency strategies and licensing policies.
During the signing of the memorandum, Ericsson representatives shared information and provided some recommendations: what frequency ranges to use when building 4G and 5G networks, for the construction of closed private networks; to review the certification of telecommunications equipment in Ukraine.
