A student from Zaporozhye Oleksiy Filippenko created his own business with millions of turnovers in three years
Alexey started his way in business, studying at the Faculty of Biology of Zaporizhia University. He now co-owns two workshops: Coffee Brew Bike and the Donut Workshop fast food chain. The young businessman plans to go international and open his own hypermarket. with reference to "Novoe Vremya".
The student earned his first capital of 6,000 hryvnias three years ago. In 2015, he and his friends agreed with the management of a summer cinema in the center of Zaporizhia to show films on weekends in the evenings. Volunteers were collected through social networks and mailings. They also earned money by selling drinks and burgers in the cinema. The project was hampered by weather and problems with the license to show films.
After returning from a trip to Israel, where Oleksiy first tried coffee with cardamom additives, he came up with the idea to sell Israeli coffee in Ukraine, with which the student turned to a local businessman who already had a stable coffee roasting business. The businessman offered Oleksiy to build a mobile bicycle cafe, which he saw in the USA, and sell coffee from it.
It took the 19-year-old entrepreneur three months to develop and build a bicycle coffee shop, after which he had to learn the profession of barista. Filippenko installed his coffee bike at various festivals, exhibitions, congresses, and negotiated with the organizers. All startup costs were reimbursed in three months. As a result, a small business was born. In the process of business development, Alexey opened a new business - Co ff ee Brew Bike. Now Filipenko fulfills orders even for the USA.
Oleksiy opened his second business, Donut Workshop, in collaboration with businessman Oleksiy Puchkov. The talent of a young businessman appealed to an experienced entrepreneur, so he decided to give Alex the status of a business partner. The first investments amounted to about $ 30 thousand. The company plans to build a network throughout Ukraine and enter foreign markets - Moldova, Belarus, Georgia, Poland.
