THAILAND REPORTED DETAILS OF THE FAST DEATH OF UKRAINIAN AMBASSADOR ANDREY BESHTA

The Ukrainian diplomat was 44 years old.
According to the Thai police, it was preliminary established that the death of Ukraine's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand Andriy Beshta on May 30 does not bear signs of a violent death. Kissana Phatanacharun, Deputy Speaker of the Thai Police, said this, referring to Radio Liberty, which, in turn, refers to the Associated Press and France Presse, the UNN agency.

"The preliminary investigation showed no signs of attack, assault or violence against him," a police spokesman said.

According to the agency, the teenage son of the deceased diplomat said that his father felt good before going to bed on May 29 at about 23:00 (local time) in their joint hotel room on the island of Ko Lipe.

Law enforcement officials said that the diplomat's son told investigators that his father woke up due to vomiting at about 4:30 in the morning, and then fainted.

The Thai police are currently questioning witnesses. The body of Andrei Beshta was handed over for autopsy.

The governor of Satun province in Thailand, Ekkarat Lisen, said that Ukraine's ambassador to Thailand Andriy Beshta, according to an autopsy, died of a heart attack.
