On May 24, 1997, exactly 29 years ago, the first McDonald's in Ukraine opened at the Lukyanivka metro station. 
Yesterday, Russian missiles flew there again. The neighboring Kvadrat shopping center and Lukyanivska market were completely destroyed.
This sign should remain and become a symbol of the first Mc Donald in Ukraine and at the same time the most enduring.
