Ukrainian advanced laser complex "Trident" integrated into a mobile system for combating drones - from FPV to reconnaissance. wings, reports Military 

Currently, the complex is undergoing final tests and is preparing for a public presentation.

Vadym Sukharevsky, the first commander of the SBS, first spoke about this complex in December 2024 [4]. During this time, the manufacturer - Celebra Tech - improved the laser and went from concept to combat model. The developers implemented an AI-based guidance system, automatic target acquisition and tracking, as well as integration with radar to obtain accurate trajectories of enemy objects.

"Trident" is capable of shooting down reconnaissance drones at a distance of up to 1500 meters. While the effective range of FPV drones is 800-900 meters.

 ❗️ If we are talking about large drones like Shahed, then the "Trident" is capable of operating at a distance of 5 km.

"Trident" can be integrated into private air defense to protect critical infrastructure and strategically important enterprises. In addition, the laser can be used for mine clearance.
