Ukrainian national hockey team has reached the elite division of the world championship

For the first time in 20 years, Ukrainian national hockey team has reached the elite division of the world championship.

Before that, the Ukrainian team beat Japan 3:1 and took silver in Division IA.

The last time Ukraine played among the best teams in the world was in 2007.
