Former Bellator champion Yaroslav Amosov (29–1) from Ukraine held his second fight under the auspices of the UFC – he clearly defeated Yoel Alvarez (23–3), who represents Spain.

The fight in the welterweight limit (up to 77.1 kg) took place on Sunday night, May 10, at the Prudential Center arena in Newark, USA, at the UFC 328 tournament.

Amosov from the first seconds seized control in the center of the octagon, pressured his opponent and in the second minute performed a successful takedown. The Spaniard tried to get to his feet, but was powerless against the total dominance of the Ukrainian.

Alvarez missed several dangerous blows in the standing position, and in the last seconds allowed himself to be transferred to the ground again. The second round began in the standing position, where both the Ukrainian and the Spaniard scored good hits. 

In one of the episodes, Yaroslav cold-bloodedly and spectacularly threw Alvarez to the floor, went into a choke hold and forced his opponent to surrender. Total dominance by the representative of Ukraine, who won his second victory under the auspices of the UFC!
