Ivchenko-Progress has started production of 12 engines for Turkish cruise missiles
Zaporizhzhya Machine-Building Design Bureau "Progress" named after Academician OG Ivchenko, entered into a number of contracts for the supply of components for the production of new turbojet engines AI-35.
with reference to Defense Express.
In particular, an agreement was concluded with the Kharkiv enterprise JSC FED and PJSC Element. JSC "FED" will manufacture and supply 12 pumps of electrically conductive FMP35E-1, and PJSC "Element" will supply SE "Ivchenko-Progress" 12 units of ECU-35 units. The new turbojet engines will be transported to Turkey, where they will be used in the production of new cruise missiles.
It will be recalled that Ivchenko-Progress is a part of Ukroboronprom and is a leading developer of aircraft engines of various types.
