The Antares rocket with a Ukrainian engine was successfully launched in the United States

 

 The third successful launch of the Antares launch vehicle, which was created with the participation of Ukrainian space companies, took place in the United States on October 3 at 4:16 a.m. Kyiv time.

This was reported on the website of the State Space Agency.

In general, this is the 12th successful launch of the Antares middle-class launch vehicle. This time, the rocket launcher launched into orbit an automatic cargo transport ship "Signus", which is to deliver to the International Space Station about 3629 kg of cargo. "Antares" consists of two stages and a spaceship.

The main structure of the first stage was developed by Pivdenne Design Bureau and manufactured by VO PMZ in cooperation with such Ukrainian enterprises as Hartron-ARKOS, Kyivprilad, Hartron-YUKOM, CHEZARA, RAPID »And others. The main developer of the launch vehicle is the American corporation Northrop Grumman.

The rocket carrier was prepared, tested and launched with the participation of specialists from the Pivdenne Design Bureau, the PMO VO PMZ and the Hartron-ARKOS NGO. Real-time start-up support was provided from the territory of the Pivdenne Design Bureau.
