Ukrzaliznytsia has signed memoranda of cooperation with Visa and Mastercard. Within the framework of cooperation it is planned to implement a number of innovative projects that will improve and modernize the services of the railway company.
with reference to the CTS.

Cooperation with Visa and Mastercard will be aimed at implementing convenient services on the railway. These include a mobile app for passengers with new payment and security options, the ability to pay for travel with a contactless card and other electronic media, including suburban services, and the extension of electronic tickets to all types of messages.

The new partners will provide expert advice and assistance to Ukrzaliznytsia, in particular on the selection of architecture and development of technical solutions that will facilitate the implementation of e-ticket projects based on contactless bank cards, such as travel documents and tickets for privileged categories.

Much attention will be paid to suburban passenger traffic. In this direction, they plan to introduce another channel of ticket sales and related railway services, as well as to optimize the company's operating costs.

In addition, customers who will pay for travel and services provided by Ukrzaliznytsia, Visa and Mastercard payment systems, will be able to participate in loyalty programs of these companies, as well as programs that will be designed specifically for UZ passengers.
