Kyivstar opens office in Rockefeller Center in New York
The Kyivstar Group of Companies has opened an official office in Rockefeller Center in New York. The office will be responsible for interaction with international investors, corporate communications and development of partnerships in the USA.
The company announced the opening of a representative office for DOU. The office is located at 1270 Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan. The new office will not operate as a business unit. Its main task is to establish contacts with American investors and represent Ukrainian business abroad.
“Being in New York brings us closer to our investors and international partners. This also gives us a new opportunity to showcase Ukrainian business and highlight Ukraine as a country of innovation, entrepreneurship and long-term investments,” said Oleksandr Komarov, President of Kyivstar and Kyivstar Group Ltd.
The company also reported that this summer marks the first year since the start of trading in Kyivstar Group Ltd shares on the American Nasdaq stock exchange. During this time, the operator has expanded digital services, completed the acquisition of the Uklon service, is developing the digital medicine direction and implementing Starlink Direct to Cell technology.
In addition, the new office will become the New York representative office of the Invest in Ukraine NOW! initiative, which VEON and Kyivstar launched in 2025. It is in New York that the company will hold its first offline presentation of financial results for the second quarter of 2026.
📌 Context of Kyivstar’s IPO
Recall that in February 2024, Nasdaq and the Ukrainian government signed an agreement to support the development of the Ukrainian capital market. In November of the same year, VEON CEO Kaan Terzioglu announced that the company was considering listing Kyivstar on the US stock market.
On August 15, 2025, shares of the operator’s parent company, Kyivstar Group, began trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker KYIV. At the time, Kyivstar President Oleksandr Komarov said that the listing should enhance the company’s international visibility and attract investors’ attention to the Ukrainian technology sector.
Komarov also shared that VEON and Kyivstar intended to invest $1 billion in network development, digital services and social projects in Ukraine during 2023–2027.
