The President of Ukraine congratulated the United States on Independence Day and discussed with Trump the current situation on the front and in diplomacy. 

“There is a real prospect of ending this war, and America’s determination will be decisive. We agreed to continue the conversation in person during the NATO summit in Ankara,” Zelensky wrote.
