In the final, the Ukrainian played a tense match against the American Isha Manzhala. After exchanging winning sets, the fate of the title was decided by a super tiebreak, in which Kocherzhenko lost with a score of 8:10.

Despite the defeat, this is a great result for the young Ukrainian tennis player at one of the most prestigious tournaments in the world.
