Scorpions changed the song Wind of Change in support of Ukraine
The German rock band Scorpions has changed the words about Moscow in one of their main hits Wind of Change.
At the concert in Las Vegas, the vocalist of the band Klaus Maine instead of the first line of the song "I follow the Moskva down to Gorky Park" (translated - "Walking along the Moskva River to Gorky Park") sang "Now listen to my heart, it says Ukrainia "(" Now listen to my heart, it says Ukraine ").
Thus, the group supported the Ukrainians who suffered from the armed invasion of Russian troops into the country.
The song Wind of Change was written by Klaus Maine in the late 80's under the influence of his first visit to the USSR. For the whole world, it became one of the symbols of democratic change in the Soviet Union, and later - one of the symbols of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
