One of the largest agricultural enterprises in Ukraine, the company "Nibulon" (Nikolaev) plans to build a terminal for transshipment of grain cargo in Izmail.

"On April 15, the Izmail City Council granted Nibulon a permit to develop a land management project on the allocation of a land plot of 20 hectares, which is located in Izmail in the area of Portovaya, Dunayskaya and Luka Kapikrayan embankments for a period of 49 years for the construction and operation of a transport infrastructure facility - terminal for transshipment of grain cargo," the newspaper writes.

As follows from the decision of the Izmail City Council, Nibulon intends to build its own transshipment complex to ensure its own logistics, the capacity of the Izmail seaport and the elevator will not be used. According to Andriy Abramchenko, Mayor of Izmail, the company is considering the possibility of involving the fleet of the Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company in its logistics schemes.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Belgorod-Dniester seaport is starting to work in the format of a transport and logistics center.

In 2021, Nibulon exported more than 5.64 million tons of agricultural products.

In the 2020/2021 marketing year (July 2020 - June 2021), Nibulon reduced the export of grains and oilseeds by 6%, or 0.3 million tons, to 4.6 million tons compared to the last marketing year.

"Nibulon" is a major producer and exporter of agricultural products and a stevedoring company.
