Ukraine defeated China 3:1! Kovalenko and Degtyarev brought the team two decisive points

On September 26 in Samarkand in the 10th round of the 46th FIDE Chess Olympiad 2026, the men's national team of Ukraine defeated China with a score of 3:1.

 Igor Kovalenko defeated former world champion Ding Lizhen with white pieces, and Roman Degtyarev won against Kun Xiangzhui with black pieces. Vasyl Ivanchuk and Igor Samunenkov ended their games in a draw.
