There is no other club president in Europe who would be so devoted to the club, who would show so much love for football and for his club. It is very touching to see how he managed to make a completely abnormal situation normal for the players of his club. With all due respect to others, I do not think that this club would exist without Rinat Akhmetov,” says Čeferin.
The Slovenian functionary congratulated Akhmetov on the 30th anniversary of his presidency and the 90th anniversary of the Donetsk club. The Ukrainian businessman, in turn, thanked the UEFA president for “justice.”
