Ukrainian boxer defeated a titled opponent and became the European champion!

From September 17 to 25, the European Amateur Boxing Championship is being held in Bulgaria.

 On Thursday, September 24, the seven-time champion of Ukraine, Elvin Aliyev, performed in the final of the tournament.

The Ukrainian's opponent was Hugo Grau, a three-time champion of France and winner of the World Boxing Cup. 

Aliyev defeated his opponent in the first round, became the European champion and brought the Ukrainian national team the first gold medal in the tournament!
