The American historic Channel History Channel made a video review of the modern Ukrainian tank "Oplot-M".
It is worth noting that during the filming, the version of the BM "Oplot" tank was used to participate in the tests for the Pakistani army. There, this tank for several years (from 2015 to 2018) competed with the Chinese tank VT-4 (MBT-3000).
On the video of the shooting group History Channel you can see exclusive frames of firing BM "Oplot" for a distance of about a mile (1650 meters) on the target and overcoming all kinds of obstacles (cars burning a barricade).
Recall that BM "Oplot" is a modern Ukrainian main battle tank (OBT), developed by the Kharkiv Design Bureau of Machine-Building. In May 2009, the tank was adopted by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The domestic tank participated in tenders for the Army of Thailand (where the German Leopard 2 and Russian T-90 defeated) and Pakistan.
It differs from similar analogues by a very powerful combined defense system, which, according to many experts, according to its aggregate characteristics, makes it the most secure car of this class in the world.
Unlike the vast majority of models of Soviet or post-Soviet OSBs, the Ukrainian tank is also capable of moving fast backward (up to 35 km / h), it has an automatic anti-aircraft system, a panoramic sight and the ability to use modern ComBat PLCR with a semi-active laser beam control system , which in the complex is not implemented on any of the serial (adopted on the arms) tanks "Soviet" school. In addition, BM "Oplot" has a powerful engine and a modern SUV.
