Ukrainian anti-ship missiles on the KrAZ chassis
Ukraine has
mastered the production of its own anti-ship missile system Neptune,
designed to control and protect the maritime borders.
The mobile rocket complex LCD-360MTS is intended to damage the surface and ground objects of the enemy at a distance of up to 300 km.
The unified launch unit USU-360 is based on a self-propelled chassis 8x8 - KrAZ-7634NE, carrying 27 tons. The launching unit is designed for placing, temporary storage, transportation, preparation for launching and launching of the R-360 missiles. The special gear chassis is equipped with a powerful 460-horsepower engine and an automatic gearbox with a maximum torque of 2500 N / m.
Together with the transmission of the passage type such aggregation allows to realize high traction-dynamic characteristics of the car.
Compact scheme KrAZ-7634NE - "cabin in front of the engine", mounting length of the frame 8080 mm, external minimum overall radius of rotation - 14 m. The first and second axle of the chassis - controlled, all bridges - leading. Steering mechanism - an integral type with a hydro-actuator for reduction of effort on a steering wheel to 10 kgf. The all-wheel drive of all wheels ensures the specialty on this chassis under off-road conditions.
