The seaport of Chornomorsk took an automobile ferry with a large batch of new passenger cars
On March 30, Suzuka Express arrived in Black Sea. The ship brought in Ukraine a large batch of new cars in the amount of 780 units.
Now to the port on a regular basis - 2 times a month - go rollers (ships for the transportation of rolling cargoes, wheeled equipment) "Neptune line": "Neptune Okeanis" and "Neptune Thelesis". Autoparts of the "Suzuka Express" class enter the Ukrainian port depending on the stock of goods loaded for Ukrainian companies.
On average, the port of Chornomorsks processes about 2 thousand units of vehicles per month. Therefore, one vessel of such a class roller carries about one third of the monthly plan for this type of cargo.
In total for the first quarter of this year, through the multimodal terminal of the port, there were 5165 units of vehicles, of which in March 2019 - 2354 units.
The multimodal terminal of the seaport of Chornomorsk is unique in Ukraine, unique in its capabilities, specializing in the servicing of railway-ferry lines and road-way lines, as well as roll-on-roll (horizontal load) vessels , located at berths Nos. 26, 27 and 28. The capacities of the terminal allow overloading 4.5 million tons of cargoes in wagons, about 40 thousand heavy-duty vehicles and 250 thousand units of automobile and agricultural machinery per year
