Where in Kyiv you can visit free galleries
Cultural life in Kiev rages every second. Options to join the beautiful more than enough. As part of the special project “Where in Kyiv”, the Kyiv Authority edition suggests finding out where to look at pictures in the capital of Ukraine without spending a penny.
The galleries contain paintings by talented artists. Often, novice artists exhibit their work in free galleries, but there are some in the collection where you can look at works by popular artists for free.
Voloshyn Gallery
The gallery specializes in “contemporary art” and demonstrates a wide range of various media of contemporary art, holds personal and group exhibitions. One of the main tasks of the first private gallery, based on the post-Soviet space in the late 80s of the twentieth century, is to reflect the current trends of the Ukrainian art market and to monitor its new promising areas. The gallery presents the best names of Ukrainian art space, without which the history of modern art would be incomplete. Triptych ART forms private and corporate collections. Gallery Spivakovska ART: EGO has existed since 2014, is located in the center of Kiev, widely known in Ukraine and abroad. Gallery Eugenia Gapchinskoy
Author's gallery of famous Ukrainian artist Yevgenia Gapchinska. She is famous for her signature style, which is impossible to confuse. The gallery is small, but you can spend a lot of time, and most importantly - buy your favorite picture or something from souvenirs. Admission is free, but anyone can pay a fee that they deem possible.

Shcherbenko Art Center
Shcherbenko Art Center specializes in exhibiting works and projects of modern Ukrainian artists, including representatives of the younger generation. The art center was opened by the gallery owner and curator Marina Shcherbenko in 2012 on the basis of one of the most famous modern art galleries in Kiev - the Bottega Gallery. The Center is created with the purpose of forming a platform for regular work on non-commercial and socially critical projects in the form of curatorial projects and exhibitions of current Ukrainian artists.
