Motor Sich will lease two An-140 aircraft

 

 The state concern Ukroboronprom plans to sign an agreement with Motor Sich to complete the construction and lease of two An-140 aircraft by the end of June.

This was stated by Deputy General Director for Production of Ukroboronprom Igor Fomenko on the sidelines of the conference "Aviation Industry of Ukraine 2021" in Kiev.

    "I hope that in the next two weeks we will sign an agreement with Motor Sichi representatives, which will be supported by Ukreximbank, and complete these two An-140 aircraft, which will give impetus to the development of the airline and allow to correct the situation at KhDAVP," he said. Fomenko at a conference at Interfax-Ukraine.

According to him, Motor Sich will lease these aircraft to ensure the development of regional transportation.

    “On June 26, we must sign an agreement on the completion and leasing of two An-140 aircraft together with Ukroboronprom and the Kharkiv plant. This is the date set by the head of Ukroboronprom, - said in turn the vice president of "Motor Sich" Vladimir Semenov.
