In Nikolaev the port terminal EVT loaded the vessel with the maximum intensity the most in the history, having processed Panamax Georgia T.



The deadweight of the bulk carrier is 80.41 thousand tons, length - 229 m, width - 32 m. Two loaders were used to load grain on the ship at the same time.

    “At the beginning of 2021, we put into operation the second NEUERO ship loading machine and the intensity of ship processing has doubled. We can load about 35-40 thousand tons per day. This is the most competitive indicator in the waters of Mykolayiv, ”said Serhiy Gunko, director of the port operator EVT Grain.

Near the EVT berth, most of the ship's cargo was loaded on a Georgia T panamax class ship - 49 thousand tons in 1.5 days. The remaining 22,000 tons were shipped on a barge to reload the bulk carrier at the raid. In total, the ship took on board 71 thousand tons of corn.

It should be noted that in 2020 the EVT terminal handled 2.22 million tons of cargo.

Besides, it is necessary to remind that in 2019 the EVT terminal in the port of Nikolaev for the first time accepted for loading the vessel of the Panamax class, and last year began to build a new berth from "ecological" tongues.
