105-year-old sailboat enters Odessa port (photo)

 

 The sailing yacht Joseph Conrad, built in 1916, was met in the port of Odessa.

     “A little sensation in the port of Odessa: Joseph Conrad sailboat suddenly opened the yacht season. On Sunday, March 14, 2021, the sailing superyacht Joseph Conrad (Build Date - 1916, L = 37m, Flag - Marshall Islands) entered the waters of the port of Odessa. Pilot Ihor Boyko and pilot trainee Oleksandr Kuznetsov moored the ship in Nova Harbor and moored it at berth G17 of the sea station. There are 5 crew members on board the yacht, ”the AMPU said in a statement. 

 Epidemiologists, according to the regulations, checked the health of the crew and the relevant documents, on Tuesday the crew members will have to pass PCR tests for coronavirus, after which they will be allowed to go ashore.

According to preliminary information, Joseph Conrad arrived in Ukraine for the next renovation which will be carried out at one of the Nikolaev ship repair enterprises.
