 The National Security and Defense Council has considered the issue of returning the Motor Sich engine company to state ownership - it will be returned in the near future.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov said this at a briefing following the meeting of the National Security Council with reference to Ukrinform.

    "We are talking about the Motor Sich enterprise in Zaporizhia. To date, a corresponding decision has been made, according to which the Motor Sich enterprise will be returned to the Ukrainian people, to the ownership of the Ukrainian state in the constitutional way in the near future, "Danilov said.

According to him, each case when the enterprises of the defense-industrial compress strangely found themselves in private hands will be considered separately.

    “And if the enterprise is strategically important for us, we will do it legally (return - ed.). Those people who have invested money, those people who have invested in these companies, will definitely receive appropriate compensation. This is done for the national security of the country, "the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council stressed.

It should be noted that Ukraine has imposed restrictive measures for three years on Chinese citizen Wang Jing and three companies located in China. The company also targeted a company from the British Virgin Islands.

On January 8, President Volodymyr Zelensky put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures.

In January, the US Department of Commerce imposed sanctions on Chinese company Skyrizon Aircraft Holdings Limited, an investor in Ukraine's Motor Sich PJSC. Wilbur Ross said the United States wanted to warn exporters that Skyrizon had close ties to the Chinese military.

In early August 2020, the DCH Group announced the beginning of a partnership with Chinese investors representing Skyrizon Aircraft Holdings Limited.

On August 6, the AMCU announced that it would evaluate the sale of Motor Sich for compliance with competition law.

On September 4, Chinese investors of Motor Sich PJSC submitted to the Ministry of Justice a claim document - Notice of Investment Dispute on the intention to apply to international arbitration to recover damages from the state of Ukraine in the amount of 3.5 billion dollars. representative of the AMCU.

In November last year, it became known that Chinese investors Motor Sich had hired three law firms to sue Ukraine for $ 3.5 billion.
