Chinese investor to build $ 238 million rubbish refinery in Kiev

China's state energy group China Energy Engineering has announced plans to build a waste treatment plant in Kiev. The group's two subsidiaries have signed a contract for the design and construction of a waste recycling plant and a power plant worth about $ 238 million for a three-year term.

It is envisaged that China Energy will build two 750-ton units and provide power plant operation and maintenance services. The company will be able to process 1.5 thousand tons of garbage a day.

Recall that for several years the Kiev authorities have been looking for a potential investor for waste recycling.
