The Kiev plant resumes the production of domestic devices for artificial ventilation

The Kiev plant “Burevesnik”, which is a part of “Ukroboronprom”, is going to resume production of artificial ventilation apparatus.
It is reported by the National Industrial Portal with reference to “Ukrrudprom”.

According to Kateryna Nozhevnikova, head of the Odessa Charitable Foundation “Monster Corporation”. the queue for pre-ordering artificial ventilation apparatus (IVL) at the Burevesnik Plant is three weeks. Burevisnik specializes in the production of sophisticated radar systems for the shipbuilding industry, and is currently being refocused on the production of high-tech medical equipment - IVF devices, sterilizers, medical equipment and special medical furniture.

In addition, other Ukroboronprom plants will be involved in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. Thus, the Khmelnitsky enterprise "Novator", after the quarantine announcement, urgently reoriented production and started sewing medical gauze ties for the needs of the enterprise itself and other participants of "Ukroboronprom". In parallel, the company is preparing to start production of the first domestic valve respirators FFP3.
