The Novator plant has started production of gauze bandages




The Novator plant, which is part of the Uroboronprom concern, plans to produce 100,000 reusable gauze ties, 13,500 of which have already been sewn.

The state-owned enterprise Novator, which is a part of Ukroboronprom SC and is located in the city of Khmelnitsky, has urgently reoriented production and started sewing medical gauze ties for the needs of state-owned enterprises.

The company is also preparing to launch the production of the first domestic FFP3 valve respirators, with the company setting up a new production line that will allow the production of up to 3 million of these special tools on a monthly basis.

In total, the plant plans to produce 100,000 reusable gauze bandages, of which 13,5 thousand have already been sewn and handed over to employees of the Khmelnytsky enterprise (at the rate of 10 bandages for one employee and his family), three thousand bandages were handed over for State Enterprise "Krasilovsky Aggregate Plant", requests for supply of bandages to other Ukroboronprom enterprises are considered.

In addition, according to the decision of the trade union committee, the company plans to create a reserve of 30 thousand gauze ties.

In addition, the company transferred 500 connections to Khmelnytsky's labor department, 100 to the branch of the bank that serves Novator.

The company is planning to establish a line for sterilizing gauze dressings, as well as to increase the production of ultraviolet irradiation devices, such as UVID, capable of safely decontaminating the air and surfaces in large areas and in crowded areas.

In addition, the CEO of Ukroboronprom Aivaras Abromavichus noted that the Mykolayiv Zorya-Mashproekt plans to produce a disinfectant solution, and about a dozen more companies sew medical ties for their employees.
