Kharkiv Tractor Plant Increases Production by 12%

During 2019 KTZ produced 585 pieces of equipment, which is 12% more than the result of the previous year. At the same time, the volume of sales was 638 units, or 16% more).

During this period, the company's revenue grew by 22% to nearly UAH 800 million.
The main buyers of the Ukrainian tractor are domestic farmers. However, the company continues to explore the markets of near and far abroad. Bulgaria, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Lithuania, Romania, New Zealand and Singapore are exporters of KTE machines.

The enterprise is updating its technical and technological base and product line. The novelty of 2019 was the updated tractor KTZ-150K-09.172.10 and KTZ-248K.20. The plant is undergoing a gradual renovation of the shops, purchasing and testing new modern equipment. So, a new line of chemical-thermal treatment of metals of the company Ipsen (USA, Germany) was recently installed, which significantly improved the quality of heat treatment of parts, and this year a new section of mechanical processing of parts was put into operation. Equipment for the production of Japan and Germany was purchased for this purpose.

In addition, the robotized 3D laser unit for precision metal machining has been successfully tested, which will replace the existing machining lines for body and frame parts, and the new band saws have allowed the plant to refuse hot metal cutting.
Large-scale modernization, equipment replacement and technology upgrades will continue. Production is projected to increase by 10% compared to 2019 and revenue by 20%.
